4-H at the Fall Fair

Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, the annual Fall fair was one of the highlights of the early back-to-school season. We worked in class on craft projects to submit. And as a family we went each year to take in the noise and the lights (and the cotton candy). Here in southern BC, Fall fairs are also part of the landscape.

This year, one of my projects was to start a 4-H club chapter here in our area. The past two weekends have been busy for club members and families; exhibiting their animals, produce and creativity. The fair gave us the opportunity to promote our club, show off our growing communications skills and recruit new members for next year. We had an amazing time.
